Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the website located at website-lumiere-79940.web.app and the suite of browser extensions, tools, scripts, and vaults owned and operated by Lumière Labs ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our services, you signify your agreement to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility & User Accounts

To use our services, you must be at least thirteen (13) years of age. If you are under eighteen (18) years of age, you must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to access the tools. Since all Lumière applications are local-first and client-side, we do not manage or store user accounts, passwords, or personal databases on our servers. You remain entirely responsible for the security and integrity of your own local extension installations, profile storage pools, and any API keys you input locally.

2. Scope of License & Prohibited Exploits

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable, non-exclusive license to download and install our browser extensions from official web stores (such as the Chrome Web Store) and utilize our website tools. This license is strictly for your personal or internal business productivity. You explicitly agree not to:

  • Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to extract the underlying source code of our tools, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
  • Distribute, lease, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any proprietary components of our software.
  • Bypass or attempt to circumvent security sandboxes, usage quotas, or manifest rules established in Chrome Manifest V3.
  • Utilize automated scripts, spiders, or scrapers to extract articles, glossary definitions, or code configurations from this site without explicit prior written authorization.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All structural designs, custom layout templates, technical articles, local-first code assets, brand trademarks, logos, and graphics displayed on this website are the exclusive property of Lumière Labs and are protected under international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property treaties. Any unauthorized duplication or redistribution of our resources is strictly prohibited.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties & "As-Is" Provision

LUMIÈRE LABS PROVIDES ALL TOOLS, EXTENSIONS, RESOURCES, AND TEXTS ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE OPERATION, SECURITY, OR COMPATIBILITY OF OUR EXTENSIONS WITH FUTURE BROWSER ENGINE UPDATES OR OPERATING SYSTEM RELEASES. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE TOOLS WILL BE FREE OF TEMPORARY RUNTIME ERRORS OR THAT CORRUPT BROWSER CACHES WILL NOT CAUSE CONFIGURATION DISCREPANCIES.

5. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL LUMIÈRE LABS, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AUTHORS, OR PARTNERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, CORRUPTION OF TEXT SNIPPETS, INACCURATE TIME-CALCULATOR METRICS, OR DOWNTIME ASSOCIATED WITH LOCAL STORAGE LIMITATIONS) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE TOOLS, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. YOUR SOLE REMEDY FOR DISSATISFACTION WITH OUR TOOLS IS TO DISCONTINUE THEIR USE AND UNINSTALL THE EXTENSION.

6. User Conduct & Third-Party Platforms

You agree to use our tools in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws. When using tools that assist with text input on third-party sites (such as email clients, LinkedIn, or messaging services), you are entirely responsible for ensuring that your automated input templates and outreach tactics do not violate the terms of service of those respective platforms. We do not sponsor, endorse, or assume responsibility for your activities on external domains.

7. Modifications to Services & Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any portion of our browser extensions or web tools at any time without prior notice. We may also revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with the "Last Updated" timestamp. By continuing to access our site or utilize our extensions after revision updates occur, you agree to be bound by the modified terms.

8. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not render these Terms unenforceable or invalid as a whole. Such provisions shall be deleted or modified without affecting the remaining provisions herein. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Lumière Labs and you regarding the use of our services.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms, their interpretation, and any legal claims arising from your interaction with our suite of products shall be governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal disputes or actions must be brought exclusively in the competent courts of the Tel Aviv-Yafo district, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
